Recommended Christian Literature

This is NOT a religious section, we will not allow debates on religious beliefs and traditions. This is intended to edify and encourage one another in our Christian walk.

1 Corinthians 2:5
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. KJV
Colossians 2:8
Beware lest any man spoil you through p.hilosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after C.hrist.

Would you have a biblical/faith based book you would like to share?
Please be mindful we will not accept the promotion of religious denominations, i.e. Ladder Day Saints, Seventh Day Adventist, Catholic etc...
This section is for those of us who believe in Jesus Christ as our mediator, savior and the son of God and no other book is a rival to or replaces the Holy Scriptures.

Book Title: The Way of the Master
Author: Ray Comfort
What is it about: Biblically sound repentance and true conversion
Why I recommend it: This is probably one of the most practical, understandable and spiritually challenging books on true conversion that I've ever read. It has had an IMMEDIATE impact on my understanding of scriptural repentance and, for the first time in my life, has made me intimately aware of the consequences of rejecting Jesus. This is a powerful, powerful book. There are no catch phrases or fancy marketing in this book. It is the real deal.

Faith and Reason by Ronald H. Nash

This is a great book if you're ready to engage in a deeper level of apologetics. It pokes and prods the reader to move in the right direction with their faith. Most of all it gives the more than casual churchgoer a historically and philosophically rich foundation for their faith. Make no mistake, this is not a fast read, but well worth it.
